Bump
Ben and David appear to be the perfect couple, but they’re missing just one thing to complete the Pottery Barn catalog that is their life: an equally perfect baby. When they ask Ben’s flaky sister, Ally, to serve as their surrogate, they are shocked to find that she is already pregnant. As Ben and David’s relationship begins to fray due to suspicion and a constantly ringing cell phone, Ally wonders if her floundering career is worth sacrificing for a family of her own. Bump is a play about motherhood, unrealistic expectations, and birthday cake.
Bump has been showcased at Actors Theatre of Louisville, FSU/Asolo Conservatory, and received a nomination for the National Partners - American Theatre Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
